Behind My Bob Hats

We love designers that come with a great story, it somehow makes their pieces a little more special. My Bob began in 2008 when a self confessed “born millener” and headwear collecting Belgian, Geoffroy Moreels, set out to launch a business using the famous handmade panamas of Ecuador.
He was soon joined by Alberto Ibarretxe, a self confessed “globetrotter”, visual art enthusiast and photographer. The creative partnership resulted in a collection that utilises 150 years of traditional workmanship fused with inspired design elements that have transformed the simple panama into bold accessories line.
Coming in a myriad of bright summery colours like acid green, canary yellow and bottle blue their frayed detailing and reversible shapes lend a casual and relaxed air to the hats. Plus having the added ability to be rolled up and put in a bag makes them the perfect travelling partner!!
